Youth Basketball of Claremore is for boys and girls in the K - 6th grade and participates in the Rec, Select and Tournament Divisions of the Indian Nations Basketball Conference. Home games for Rec and Select will be played on Saturdays in Claremore and teams will travel to competing INBC clubs for away games.

BASKETBALL

REC Basketball

$90 Per Player

Rec players are drafted to teams through an official INBC draft. Team formation is determined by Rec player registration. School ball players in grades 6-8 are not eligible for INBC Rec Division.

Eligible School Districts: Claremore Public, Sequoyah, Foyil, Chelsea, Inola, Justus-Tiawah, Private School, and HomeSchool

Select Basketball

$850 Per Team

Select players are hand chosen or recruited by the coach. There is no draft and no boundaries, meaning players from other cities are eligible to join your team. However, 50% of the team must be from within Claremore territory. WHEN REGISTERING, PLEASE LIST COACH'S NAME IN COMMENTS SECTION to ensure proper team placement.

Registration costs are determined on a team basis rather than an individual pricing. The cost per team is $850 and is to be paid in one lump sum to YBOC by the head coach. Player responsibility shall be equal in cost for all players on the same team.

INBC Tournament Basketball

$850 Per Team

INBC Tournament League is for BOYS 4th-6th grades only. Players are hand chosen or recruited by the coach. Coaches schedule practices, typically in 1.5 hour practices, twice weekly.

There will be eight or nine regular season games and an optional playoff/post season tournament immediately following season play. Games will be held mostly on Saturdays, but could be scheduled on a week night, depending on gym availability.

Jerseys/Uniforms will be the responsibility of the individual team.

Coaches are encouraged to find sponsors.

Players must have a valid and current sports physical on file and a birth certificate must be provided to the head coach.

Players/Teams are encouraged to obtain business sponsors. Sponsors will receive advertisement in the YBOC season memory book. Ad sizes are as follows: $75 for business card sized ad, $150 for half page ad, $300 for full page ad. YBOC will rely on these fundraising monies to pay for referees, practice facilities, and increasing league fees for the season.

1. Determine which division to register your child for: Basketball in the Rec, Select or INBC Tournament Division or for Cheer

3. REC PLAYER FEES: The full amount of $90 must be paid online at the time of registration. To make alternate arrangements, please call/text 918-636-0046.

SELECT PLAYER FEES: Players will be responsible for paying head coach (see coach for details).

CHEERLEADING FEES: The full amount of $85 must be paid online at the time of registration. To make alternate arrangements, please call/text 918-636-0046.

4. Print YBOC Information Page for important information and dates.

5. Obtain Valid Sports Physical and Birth Certificate. All players must submit a current physical and a copy of their birth certificate by:

Dropping them off in a sealed envelope to the Beson Building at 111 N.Missouri Ave. on a designated onsite collection date

CHEER

Indoor Cheerleading

$85 Per Cheerleader

Uniform Included

(T-shirt, Bow, PomPom)

Squads will be formed based on registration.

Indoor Cheerleading at Home Basketball games only.

All home games will be on Saturdays.

Squads will be assigned home games to cheer for. Teams (grade and gender) will vary from week to week.
